Who is the data controller?

What we collect

• Enquiry details you send us: name, phone, email, postcode, the repair needed and any message.
• Live chat conversations and the details you enter in the chat form.
• If you accept analytics cookies, pseudonymous usage data about pages visited.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and arrange repairs (steps prior to a contract, and contract performance); to keep records and prevent fraud or spam (legitimate interests); and, only with your consent, to measure site usage.

Who we share it with

The repair company in our network that quotes for and carries out your job (so it can contact you and attend), and service providers acting on our instructions: Web3Forms (form delivery), tawk.to (live chat), Netlify (hosting), Google Analytics (only if you accept cookies), and our email provider. Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are kept for up to 24 months. Customer records are kept for six years after the job for accounting and legal purposes.

Cookies

Essential storage remembers your cookie choice. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept; you can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. The live chat widget may set functional cookies needed to run the chat.
