Shopfront respray & refurbishment

Faded, scratched frontages cleaned up, resprayed and re-hardwared.

Shopfront refurbishment brings a tired frontage back up to standard without a full replacement. It usually combines on-site respraying or recoating of faded aluminium, new seals and gaskets, replacement handles and door hardware, and fixing any glass or frame faults found along the way.

Guide price£650 – £3,500ex VAT, typical frontage, scope-dependent. Fixed price confirmed after survey.

What does shopfront respray & refurbishment cover?

  • On-site respraying of faded or chalky aluminium
  • Colour changes for new tenants or rebrands
  • New handles, push plates and kick plates
  • Full gasket and seal renewal
  • Combined glass, door and lock repairs in one visit

How do I know I need it?

  • Powder coating has faded, chalked or peeled
  • A new tenant or brand needs a different colour
  • Several small faults have built up
  • The frontage lets down an otherwise refitted shop

How is the repair carried out?

We survey the whole frontage and price the refurbishment as a single scope, so repairs, hardware and finishing are done together rather than on separate call-outs. Respraying is planned around your trading hours where possible.

Questions about shopfront respray & refurbishment

Can aluminium shopfronts be resprayed on site?

Yes. Surfaces are cleaned, keyed and masked, then recoated with a finish suited to aluminium. It is a cost-effective alternative to replacing a structurally sound frontage.

Do I need permission to change my shopfront colour?

Possibly. Conservation areas, listed buildings and some leases restrict shopfront colours. Check with your landlord and local planning authority before choosing.

How long does a shopfront refurbishment take?

A typical single frontage takes one to three days on site depending on scope. We agree the programme with you beforehand.
