Terms of use

Last updated 16 September 2026.

About these terms

These terms cover your use of shopfrontrepairs.uk. The website operator’s identity and contact details are set out in our privacy notice. When you ask for a repair, your enquiry is passed to a repair company in our network. Your contract for the work is with the company named on your written quotation, and that quotation sets out its trading name, address and terms.

Prices and guide prices

Prices shown on this website, including results from the guide price tool, are indicative ranges excluding VAT. They are not offers. A binding price is only given in a written quotation after survey.

Quotations

Written quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed when you accept a quotation in writing and any stated deposit is received.

Emergency attendance

Emergency call-out charges are confirmed before an engineer is dispatched. Make-safe work such as boarding is charged separately from the permanent repair.

Consumers

If you are contracting as a consumer, you have statutory rights, including cancellation rights for contracts made at a distance or off-premises. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

Website content

We aim to keep information accurate but do not guarantee that technical descriptions are complete for every product or site. Illustrations are diagrams, not photographs of completed jobs.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
